Lost in translation - Jam version
Lost in Translation is a gamejam game, submitted for the "I can't write but want to tell a story" Jam, which lasted about two weeks, this game was made over a 4 day period, with two days of coding and two days a refinement.
Pitch:
Exploring ones psyche is a daunting task, and one that can consume more than expected. This game explores the meaning of self, addiction, and the struggles of an addicted mind.
Gameplay:
Straight out of Asteroids, Lost in translation takes the movement system of asteroids and combines that with story-telling maneuvering, and collection of pickups.
You must maneuver around objects in space to collect pickups and unlock the story that is lost in translation.
Controls:
The movement is 'WASD' or Arrow keys.
'R' to reload the level.
